Wecome to our site I am the propreitor of Lakeside
garage, which I started in 1984. However, I
have been in the motor trade since 1974 when
I began my career at Minchinhampton motors,
which is now a housing estate! I attended Tec
college for 4 years and passed City & Guilds
part 1 & 2 and National Craftsman's certificate.
I have been the president of Nailsworth
Chamber of trade for the last 3 years, and
for the last 25 years I have been playing Folk/
rock music with local band, Sweet
fresh Air.

Tom is the newest recruit,he is in his 2nd year
as an apprentice and is undertaking his City and
Guilds. |

Jon King
I have has worked at lakeside since I left
school in August 1992.
I attended Tec College for 3 years and passed
City and Guilds part one two and three.
The training has been constant over the years,
engine management,air-conditioning,ABS braking
and of course a vast amount of experience which
cannot be obtained from a text book.

Christopher hooper I started at Lakeside
garage in July 1997.
My employment began as a apprentice motor mechanic,
but it soon came to light that my strengths
were in the the admin. and customer relations
side of the business.
I have achieved National vocational qualification
at level 3 in customer service and Administration,

Steven has worked at Lakeside Garage for 4
years. He came here for a job when his family
moved to the area from London in September 2001,where
he worked at a tyre and exhaust center.
Steven has attended vehicle electronics courses,
and has achieved the required standard for joint
certification.
