Lakeside
Garage, Nailsworth
Restoration
|
We take on one project at a time, although on
occasions one will overlap with the other.
We have restored many vehicles since 1984.
On the left is a Lanchester which belonged to
Brian Gay from Stonehouse.
|
 |
A claim to fame is the
work which we did to the Hampton which belongs to
Mr. Picken from Minchinhampton.
Most of the mechanical work had already been finished.
We were completely involved with the bodywork. The
pictures tell the story. |
 |
|

To complete the work from when we took over to
completion was approx. 4 months.

 |
In may 2004 which was
our 20th anniversary, we had a classic/vintage motor
show as part of the Nailsworth festival.
On display were 15 vehicles of all shapes and sizes
that have been in the workshop for either a complete
restoration or just an small repair. |
 |
This is an example of some interior leather work which
we undertook with the help of a local upholster.
This Rover P5 belongs to Colin smith from Stroud. We
restored the whole car, mechanical and bodywork.
The automatic gearbox was repaired and the vehicle brought
up to MOT standard.
A complete respray and interior renovation. A car
to make Maggi proud of.
At Lakeside garage we take a pride in our restoration
work.

We are currantly restoreing
a 1947 MGTC pictures and progress will be posted shortly
